The ADHDegenerate Video Journal Series

I've been looking for a reason to get back into YouTube. I really enjoyed making videos, but the internet has become a place I no longer enjoy. Every time I open my phone I'm fed AI slop, reels, memes, angry opinions from obscure friends and relatives, and a tidal wave of self-promotional content.

I missed the days when social media was all about expressing yourself and finding your people. Unfiltered representations of who we are, sharing what we love for the sake of connecting with other people, not for building a brand or making money.

It got to a point in my life where I was jumping from hyperfixation to hyperfixation every other week because of my ADHD. I considered writing in a physical journal about everything I explored and thought about that week, but what good would that do for other adults living with ADHD? Yes, there's a sense of humility in journaling only for myself, but I want to be impactful for others as well.

That's where my return to YouTube came in. I started the ADHDgenerate video journal series with the intention of documenting my life and my thoughts so that maybe I can make sense of them and understand who I am a little bit better. By sharing online, hopefully other people with ADHD can find value in what I have to share.
